Location Remote,WI Description ESC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced fully-remote (CST) Buyer to join our premier ecommerce client's rural expansion strategy, ensuring the right products are delivered to the right locations - on time and cost-effectively. In this role, you will play a key part in launching new product assortments by setting up new vendors and SKUs, managing product pricing and content, and processing high-volume purchase orders using Coupa. You'll also support cross-functional procurement initiatives and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. The role is a 6-month contract opportunity, providing in-roads with this exceptional employer. Procurement & Purchase Order Management

• Place high-volume purchase orders using Coupa purchasing tools (e.g., Coupa).
• Use internal tools like MBOA to export and manage order data, ensuring accurate and timely procurement of supplies and equipment for new facility launches.
• Maintain product-level data including costs, retail pricing, content, and images, ensuring catalog integrity for rapid deployment.
• Act as a backup to the Control Buyer as needed, including assisting with training and task visibility through Smartsheets
• Ensure procurement tasks align with supply chain objectives for new site launches.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Set up and manage relationships with new vendors, ensuring that procurement timelines align with site launch schedules.
• Act as a liaison between internal project managers, operations teams, and external suppliers.
• Support vendor compliance and resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery, or pricing.

Data & Analytics

• Use Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and Smartsheets to validate orders, track procurement progress, and manage large datasets.
• Provide regular reports and updates to project teams and leadership.

Key Attributes of a Successful Buyer

• 5+ years of Buyer experience in a procurement/supply chain environment
• Recent experience with Coupa for purchasing and procurement operations
• Highly analytical with strong Excel skills
• Detail-oriented and organized, especially in high-volume procurement environments
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating cross-functionally across procurement, operations, and logistics
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or process improvement technologies.
