Since 1946, Gus's BBQ has been celebrating the culinary traditions of the South; we are dedicated to serving up fresh takes on long-established fare while bringing the roots of true Southern Hospitality to the West Coast. Gus's BBQ is accepting applications to join our lively Delivery Crew and Onsite Catering Event Team! We are searching for the brightest personalities who can adjust to our dynamic schedule. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience and have open availability to accommodate our onsite event schedule and deliveries. Gus's BBQ Delivery Crew is responsible for gathering supplies, packing orders, and making sure orders are delivered hot, fresh, and on-time. Drivers must be at least 21 years old and comfortable driving a large sized cargo van. Gus's BBQ Catering Onsite Event Team sets up and breaks down serving sites, serves food and beverages to guests in a positive and friendly manner, and enthusiastically provides information about selections. Schedule: This is a part-time position. Catering servers can work anywhere from 5-20 hours a week, depending on the time and busyness of the catering season. You will be contacted to work an event anywhere from a week to a month before an event. Requirements: Open and flexible schedule availability Ability to travel is a plus. Catering locations are based out of Claremont, South Pasadena, and Porter Ranch Food handler certification required Ability to lift 25-51 lbs.
