Base pay range $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Motion Designer in Redmond, WA. Responsibilities: Produce high-quality motion design and video edits for: Bi-annual Release Wave video series (multiple product-focused videos) Customer story videos (approximately 40/year) Event content (Power Platform Conference, Ignite, etc.) Social media and marketing content Sizzle reels, promos, intro/title screens, and CTA graphics Collaborate with visual designers to animate UI designs from Figma and bring product screens to life Piece together interview footage, voiceover, music, and b-roll into compelling customer stories Create motion graphic templates for efficiency and reusability Handle end-to-end editing tasks: sound design, color correction, file delivery, and final exports Deliver rapid first passes ("pre-vis") to align on structure and narrative quickly Iterate efficiently based on frequent feedback cycles (daily or every 2-3 days) Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with shifting priorities and tight turnarounds Participate in weekly creative syncs and cross-functional team meetings Leverage AI tools (such as Copilot or ChatGPT) to accelerate first draft creation from transcripts/story outlines Requirements 5+ years of working specifically as an editor and/or animator for TV, commercial, web projects Proven ability to handle both editing and motion graphics design with a focus on storytelling Expert in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and the full Creative Suite Comfortable animating Figma designs and integrating UI/UX elements into video Strong skills in sound design, color correction, and final file delivery workflows Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up story assembly Experience managing high-volume content pipelines in agency, in-house, or big tech environments Excellent communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly Access to appropriate hardware for rendering and production: MacBook Pro/high-end Surface with dedicated graphics card, fast hard drive, etc. MUST provide reel and/or links to work that showcase specific editing and 2D/3D animation examples Ability and initiative to innovate - must be able to constantly think of new creative ways to tell a story through the lens and in an edit Team player with refined and assertive leadership skills and ability to positively influence change through solid rationale, supporting data, and diplomacy Passion for telling impactful and dynamic customer-driven stories Experience with Microsoft software and Business Applications is a bonus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
