Assists the Therapy Services staff with patient care. The therapy tech is responsible for the safety of patients while assisting the therapists with delegated tasks. They are responsible for correct timing of certain treatments and executing assigned routine treatments. They are also responsible for cleanliness of working area and equipment.
**Priority consideration will be given to individuals currently enrolled in either an accredited school of Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) program or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, or Speech Language Pathology (SLP) program and must remain clinically active in educational program.**
Responsibilities:Essential Functions
Assists in checking in and supervising independent access clients, if applicable.
Ensures regular maintenance (oil change) and fueling for CTS vehicle.
Maintains equipment and work environment in an organized manner in accordance with policies and Joint Commission and CMS standards.
Monitors delivery area daily for arrival of orders / supplies and stocks them in the appropriate location in a timely manner.
Provides support to clinical or office personnel according to legal standards and department guidelines.
Sanitizes equipment according to infection control policy and procedure and ensures maintenance of records.
Works with supply coordinator to maintain par levels of supplies necessary for daily clinical operation.
Assists clinical staff with patient care tasks delegated by therapy team member.
Provides unskilled components of care: including environmental set up, fitting of CPM, and a second assist per direction of the therapist.
Cleans and organizes dirty equipment.
Ensures the therapy environment is clean and free of clutter.
Assists with ordering/stocking supplies.
Assists with administrative tasks such as the r schedule, department tracking, and other department functions as assigned.
Qualifications:Licensure/Certification Requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $15per hour - $24.32per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
