Job Title: Licensed Customs Broker

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) to lead and manage operations in our customs brokerage and freight forwarding divisions. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience and deep industry knowledge—particularly in oil and gas, project cargo, and FTZ (Foreign-Trade Zones). This is a key role that ensures compliance, operational efficiency, and on-time delivery while maintaining positive relationships with U.S. Customs and other regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily operations within customs brokerage and freight forwarding divisions
Ensure accurate and timely customs clearance for international shipments, including project cargo
Monitor and manage tariff classifications, duty rates, and cost control for all customs-related activities
Maintain strong working relationships with CBP and other government agencies to ensure compliance
Coordinate documentation, compliance reviews, and client communication
Ensure proper procedures are followed regarding FTZ entries, bonded shipments, and O&G cargo
Train and mentor staff to uphold compliance standards and optimize operational workflows
Stay up to date with changing trade regulations and advise leadership on impact to the business
Required Qualifications:
Active U.S. CBP Customs Broker License
Minimum 10 years of experience in customs brokerage operations
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field
Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, entry filing, and compliance
Proficient in relevant software and systems used for customs brokerage and freight forwarding
Preferred Experience:
Oil & gas industry exposure and knowledge of related cargo classifications
Project cargo clearance experience
Familiarity with Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) and bonded warehouse operations
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
